Dr. Red Alinsod is a board certified gynecologist and urogynecologic surgeon in Laguna Beach, California. He was the former Chair of the Thermi Women’s Health Advisory Clinical Board and is the founder of the first ThermiVa™ Center for Physician Education. By collaborating with Thermi, Dr. Alinsod invented, designed and developed ThermiVa™. Dr. Alinsod is also a certified Orgasm Shot® / (O-Shot®) physician, and has been personally trained by Dr. Charles Runles in advanced O-Shot ® therapies to compliment his ground breaking ThermiVa treatments. This procedure is a very specific method of using blood-derived growth factors to rejuvenate the vagina to help relieve women with urinary incontinence and sex problems.

O-Shot®

The Orgasm Shot™ is a sexual and cosmetic rejuvenation procedure for the vagina using the preparation and injection of blood-derived growth factors. (The growth factors must be used in the specific way specified by the trademarked procedure to constitute the Orgasm Shot™/O Shot™. Injection of any form of growth factors in any way other than specified does not constitute the Orgasm Shot™.)

Clinical Description of the Orgasm Shot ® (O-Shot ®): Isolation followed by injection of blood-derived growth factors for the purpose of amplification and rejuvenation of orgasm-producing vaginal tissue for the purpose of a more youthful appearance and improved sexual function.

Non-Surgical Training

Dr. Alinsod’s training program for the O-Shot ® gives access to the brilliant research of Dr. Runels for the West Coast providers looking to learn non-invasive use of both biologics and energy based solutions such as radiofrequency.

Dr. Alinsod has been training physicians in advanced reconstructive pelvic surgery for over 10 years. Dr. Alinsod has taught hundreds of surgeons the proper techniques of incontinence surgery and advanced augmented repairs of pelvic organ prolapse. He has taught both cadaver labs and one-on-one training sessions for Caldera Medical, BARD, Boston Scientific, AMS, and Tyco Women’s Health. This stand-alone full-day course is sponsored by Caldera Medical.
